Summary 2

In his article "Is College Worth It?" Brandon Busteed agrees that college is worth the money but he also implies that the teaching systems should be changed for students to have a better outcome of it. Stating the fact that the average person with a bachelors degree will earn roughly a million dollars more in their life than some one that only graduated through high school. While mentioning that in todays economy many of these things have been changing, from the fact that tuition has raised up to an additional 15% from the 23% where it was back in 2001, and also that many college grads today are not getting well paid jobs after their schooling. Busteed does go on to say that it is also not all about the money when it comes down for getting the job that is best for you after college. If the person were to get a job that they loved and dreamed about after their higher education it will make them happier and give them a more well being. The well being as he mentions is one of the key parts in a person that makes him or her happy, just by having the job that will make you enjoy yourself every day you walk into it can make a person feel even that much better about themselves. Rather than having a job that you hate going into every day but deal with it just because the pay is good. As the topic goes on it changes into the concern of the college staff from it describing that they should be changing their strategies on how they introduce a way for their students to be focused on a better outcome for their future rather than aiming towards just good paying jobs.
My own belief on this topic is that I think college is worth the money and time only to an extent. If you would be willing to go to school and spend that much money wouldn't you want to know that you would be able to pay it back safely without having to worry about all of your student loans building up. After all Busteed does mention in the article that tuition of the schools have just only been rising.
